The route felt well balanced and our guide adjusted the pace when the group needed more time on the steps. Pokhara at the end made the trip feel comfortable.
A private route into the Annapurna Sanctuary, planned with realistic pacing through villages, forests and high mountain amphitheatres.
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of Nepal’s most rewarding mid-length treks, leading from the lower foothills into a natural amphitheatre beneath Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre and surrounding peaks.
The route is more flexible than Everest and can be adjusted around pace, hotel nights in Pokhara, and whether guests prefer a shorter or slightly slower itinerary. We keep the planning practical, with attention to walking time, lodge comfort and transport links before and after the trek.

The landscape becomes narrower and more alpine as the route moves toward Deurali and the base camp corridor.
Walk into the Annapurna Sanctuary and arrive at base camp, surrounded by a close ring of high peaks.
Begin descending back through the same valley, with time to adjust the pace according to conditions.
Continue through villages and descend toward the road-access point, often with a stop near Jhinu.
Return to Pokhara for a comfortable hotel night after the trek.
Drive or fly back to Kathmandu with time for final adjustments or onward travel.

We liked that the team explained the daily walking hours clearly. The lodge choices were simple but appropriate, and the mountain views near base camp were unforgettable.
